Wow as I'm writing this post, I'm really thankful to God for what He has done yesterday. Our project group was rushing our report and powerpoint yesterday for today's presentation. Then after when we are almost done with the report and powerpoint, my friend's laptop suddenly crashed. The worst thing was that we did not have any backup for the report and powerpoint and if we can't recover the files, we will have to redo everything. On top of that, I was not feeling very well and if we were to redo the project, I don't think I will be able to do it. Time was running out as well as it was about 5.10PM. Then my friend restarted the laptop countless times but all failed. The laptop can't start up the OS. Then we tried to go to the admin office in SIT to seek help but was in vain too. After that my two friends headed back home to try to recover the files while I went to MacDonalds to celebrate Xing Xing's birthday. Xing Xing's birthday celebration went quite smoothly and really thank Yi Quan for hosting the birthday celebration so well. Meanwhile I received an SMS from one of my friend and he told me that the first recovery of the files failed. I was not really anxious as I had a believed that God will make a way. My friend asked me to pray that everything will turn out smoothly as he was going to try again. Then at about 7.30PM, I headed home and took bus 13 with Andrew. After Andrew alighted, I was praying in my heart that everything must work out as I have told my friend that I will pray. If it doesn't worked out, I'm afraid that my friend will doubt God. Then soon after, I fell asleep on the bus. When I woke up, I found out that I've missed my bus stop but fortunately it wasn't very far from my bus stop. Then before I alighted, I received an SMS from my friend and he told me that the files are being recovered. Praise the Lord! I was overjoyed and replied him that thank God and also thank him for his effort. I'm sure that my friend knows that God has worked as I have told him that I will pray. Its really amazing that how God can turn things around in such a tight situation and I know that its really God at work that we are able to recover the files for the presentation today. =)

I'm Really Very Thankful And Greatful To God!

Woah! I'm really so thankful and greatful to God. God has been faithful to our caregroup NYP 6. Through prayers and fasting, God answered our prayers and the caregroup started to grow. Still remember the time when we prayed and fasted for the group to grow and weeks later growth started to come. Firstly was the touch of God that changed Kelvin's life around. Secondly was the Easter outreach and we had two converts, Victor and Liang Bing. Lastly was that the caregroup's people hearts that are changed and they became more willing and more initiative to serve God. All these things can't be achieved by my own human strength and effort. It has to be God moving in each and everyone's hearts that their life can experience change. And also without the caregroup's people working together, (Richard, Yi Quan, Donovan, Lester, Xing Xing, Kelvin) the caregroup will not have grown or grown so much. I'm really very thankful to my caregroup people for supporting me since the start of NYP 6. Without them being faithful in sharing the Gospel, calling their friends and leading in the caregroup roles, NYP 6 will not have grown or grown so much as well. Therefore I really want to say a big "THANK YOU" to God and to my caregroup people.

Something I Thought I Would Not Do!

Last Saturday and Sunday, I did one of the things I thought I would never do in my life. Guess what, I used my shaver to trim my hair. On Saturday when I reached home after dinner, I thought to myself, should I cut my hair or should I not. I was a little reluctant to cut my hair as I had just cut it about a month ago and it would be a waste of money if I cut it again. Just then I remembered seeing the word "trim" on my shaver the other day when I used it. I was caught in the middle as I was afraid that I would fail trimming my hair. Then a while later after much consideration, I took my shaver and switched it to the "trim" mode. The shaver was rumbling away as I took the courage to trim the side of my hair. As I trim the side of my hair, I thought my shaver was lousy as I thought no hair was trimmed off as my hair looked the same. But when I looked at the sink, I saw some hair on the sink and I knew that it worked. Then I used the shaver to work around my hair. I managed to trim the side of my hair much thinner. (Even though it may still looked the same. -.-) Thank God everything worked out well and my hair turned out quite nice.

On Sunday, Yi Quan and I went to follow up on Liang Bing our Easter new believer. We met him at Kovan and after the follow up, Liang Bing and I left to play basketball with Richard, Donovan and some DI brothers. And Yi Quan went over to his friend's house to teach guitar. Really enjoyed myself as its been quite some time sinced I played basketball but what I enjoyed the most was the time spend with the brothers. Richard brought two of the Easter friends that we have shared Christ to and we all had some great time of basketball. After the basketball, we left and I headed home for dinner with my parents. After dinner, I once again took the courage to trim my hair. This time I trimmed the top of my hair as I find its too thick. Then I used the shaver to trim my hair and everything turned out well. I also enjoyed myself as this was the first time I trimmed my hair myself. But I really want to thank God as He had blessed my hands to trim my hair well. =)

What An Enjoyable Day!

Last Friday was one of the most enjoyable day at work. I really had the joyful approach to my work. Though there was much work to be done, but I felt really joyful. In the afternoon, my Officer In Charge of my attachment, Bee Kay and my colleauge Aziza went to the Transit Area. (The place where people are about to board the plane.) We were there to do some inspection on the shops in the airport. The walk was a little awkward at the start as its the first time the three of us go outside for a walk together. But soon, conversation started to pop up and during the time of inspection, I really enjoyed myself. One of the topic I had with Bee Kay was on liquor and cigarettes. Then she shared to me about some staff trying to smuggle the liquor and cigarattes but failed. But what surprised her was that I told her that I had not drink liquor or beer before. Despite sharing to her that I had not drink before, I don't feel ashamed or guilty for not drinking even though some people had told me before its ok to drink a little. The reason I had for not drinking is because firstly it harms the body and secondly if I try, I may get addicted. On top of that, the Bible also mentioned in Proverbs about drinking too much and getting yourself drunk is not good. To prevent any harm or addiction, I made the stand of not drinking for the rest of my life. It may sound a little extreme but I will do what I can not to drink. =)

After the walk, I went back to the office and after a little chat with Aziza, I left the office and headed back home. =) Oh... just realized that I left out a small part of my Friday. =) In the afternoon after my lunch, I went back to my office and Aziza wanted to borrow the camera for some photo taking. Then we went to the person in charge of the camera. Her name is Badariah. (She looked like a Chinese though she is a Malay. =)) Coincidently she had brought some chocolates in the chocolate fare. Then she opened one box of the chocolate for us to try. (But I can't remember the brand of the chocolate. -.-) At first I kindly rejected but she just asked me to to take one and try. So I just took one and try. Thank God I tried it because its one of the best chocolates I ever tasted. It taste really nice as the chocolate has a very special taste. Then at 3pm, I then left the office with Bee Kay and Aziza for the shops inspection. =)

Another Day At Work...

Today had been like any other working day just that today I had more things to do than usual. Work seemed to be getting more and more tiring as I seemed to have not enough rest as I reached home late almost everyday. In this attachment period, I realize how tiring work can be. Having to wake up early everyday and working till late evening. I think till now I'm still not very used to the working life as I find it totally different from school life. Being in school I do not need to work all the time and there are much breaks in between but in working life, I have to work all the time continuously except for an hour of lunch break which seemed to past really fast. Also during my time in school, I have more time on ministry and meeting my people, time in school is much more flexible. But in attachment, I find that time is less flexible. On top of that, the time I spend with my family had been much lesser than before. But on the other hand, in this attachment, I learned to depend on God more for strength and I realized that during my time of attachment, I had been spending more time reading the Bible. Without God substaining me, I think by now I would be in a really bad state. Really want to give thanks to God for His grace and mercy on me. Now with about one and a half months left in this attachment, the challenge ahead for me is to really plan my time well for ministry, family and work. But most importantly I have to keep my walk with God strong. =)

A Day I Enjoyed!

Today I woke up at 6am to switch off my alarm on my phone just to realize later that I overslept. Instead I went back to sleep and got up at 7am. As it was, I was late for work but thankfully my supervisor did not know. It was not a very good start to a week especially on a Monday morning. I did not do much from the morning till about 4pm as there was not much work given. The day seemed totally draining as the time went by. Then I met this Indian guy in the toilet. His name is Bi Lian and he knows how to speak chinese. I felt joyful when I met him because I felt compassionate to share the Gospel to him. Previously I had met him a few times but did not talked to him until last week but I've forgotten his name. From then, I was determined to share the Gospel to him while I'm still having my attachment at Changi Airport.

At the same time, there was some unsolved issue going on as I was holding on to the ministry house key and there was an NYP meeting at 6.30pm. As I knock off work at 6pm, I know I would not be able to reach on time to open the ministry house door as it takes about one and a half hour to reach the ministry house. I was anxiously trying to find who has a spare ministry house key but was in vain. Then Li Yan suggested that I take a cab down after work. I did not have much money at that time so I went to borrow ten dollars from my classmate who is having attachment with me. Then I was told that if I take a cab from Changi Airport will cost me four dollars more as one dollar is for peak hour and three dollars is for extra charge. Then I contacted Richard and told him to go to the ministry house after his class at 5pm to see if there is anyone there. Then I prayed in my heart and thankfully to God, I received an SMS from Richard saying that he is already in the ministry house and that means that I can save the amount of money that is going to be used on taking the cab. Praise the Lord. =)

Then after the meeting, Leslie and I went for dinner at the coffee shop nearby the ministry house. Later Ken and Wei Hong joined us. During this dinner time, I really enjoyed myself as I felt close to the brothers even though I did not spoke much. I really enjoyed the time of fellowship and I know that this type of fellowship can't be found else where and this type of fellowship can only be found in God's Kingdom. =)

Turn On The Style!

Woah its been quite some time since I've last blogged. Sorry for the long wait for my posts. I will try to update as much as possible. =)

Really first of all I want to say a big "Thank You" to God for the two converts (Victor & Liang Bing) and also for bringing my caregroup NYP 6 for outreach on Easter last Friday. Its really a boost of faith for all the whole caregroup to see these two converts as its been a long time since there are converts in the group. But God is faithful always and will definitely help the group to grow as long as we have faith, persevere and be faithful. Also very glad to see the caregroup having the unity to fast together on Thursday and Friday even though some of them are having attachment. And God did a great work in us on Friday as we all shared the Gospel boldly together. Really enjoyed the time of sharing the Gospel as its also been a long time since many of us in the caregroup shared the Gospel.

Secondly, I'm also really glad that Kelvin has came back to serve the Lord. Can see that now he is on fire to serve the Lord. Really want to give praise and thanks to God because of the work that He has done in Kelvin's life as its only God who can turn his life around.

And lastly want to welcome Xing Xing back to NYP 6 as he has just arrived back in Singapore today as around 3am. Really looking to have him back in the caregroup and also looking forward to this new semester as its going to be an exicting semester as we will see freshmen coming to know Jesus through us. I here wish Richard, Xing Xing, Andrew, Ken, Khok Yen, Wei Jie to have a fruitful semester ahead. =)

Hey do you know that you have had 2 converts on friday 17th april 2006? They are Victor and Liang Ping. Both sec4s and are both from your alma mater Maris Stella High and Hougang Sec respectively. Both of them are converted from your caregroup NYP 6 and occurs at Somerset MRT!

Should I salute you or be proud of you??? If you don't follow-up on these new born spiritual babies, I shall chop off your Yagumi head and cook some curry ok.

Abiding in Him

Below are the words of Joshua Harris which is so so so very true. He is experiencing the same thing as me! I tried to be a good careleader, a shepherd, a student, a son, a brother, a sower, a good friend, a good host etc etc. It's not that I don't think I need Jesus. I know I need Him! But its the subtle confidence or trust in myself or thinking that I could handle it that makes me don't wanna trust Him. I wonder what will become of me if I were to depend and rely on Jesus alone, and feed on Jesus like a parasite, what will become of me? All I know is that Jesus wants us to depend on Him fully, not on other things, not on ourselves....

To have true spiritual life, Christians must maintain constant union with Jesus. We must abide in him. We do this by reading his word, communing with him in prayer, and pursuing fellowship and worship centered on Christ with other saints.

Abiding doesn't come naturally to me. As I read this passage I was struck by how often I try to accomplish and achieve without abiding in Christ. I attempt to grow, to parent, to be a husband, to preach or lead, apart from the constant discipline of abiding in Jesus. It doesn’t work. Actually, it works for a while. But then it withers. Like a vase of cut flowers, self-sustaining effort can be beautiful, even impressive. But it never lasts. Without vital connection to and reliance on the Savior our best efforts die.

What is the opposite of abiding? I guess it’s moving on. Not remaining, pulling up the stakes and heading out. So often, my inclination is toward independence and self-sufficiency. This is never in the form of outright rejection. It is subtle. It’s self-confidence. It’s believing that I know how to handle what’s coming next.

It’s not that I think I don’t need Jesus, because I know I do. But I start thinking, “I need Jesus to get saved and to forgive my sins, and I will definitely be checking in frequently, but I can’t sit around and abide all day. Good grief, I have places to go and people to see and kingdom work to accomplish!”

To all this Jesus simply says, “apart from me you can do nothing.” Nothing is not a whole lot.

Do I believe that? I need to. It’s true. Apart from his words feeding me, apart from daily communion, apart from constant prayer and reliance, apart from the sustaining grace of gathering with those who call on his name, apart from the discipline of fighting anything and everything that draws me away from him, I will dry up and die spiritually.

Jesus is not just the Savior who died to save me from sin 2,000 years ago. He’s not just the Savior who gave me life on the day when I first repented and believed in him.

He is my life today.

He is the vine and I am the branch. All that I have and all the good fruit I hope to bear—in my marriage, family, and church—is the direct result to my connection to him.

I cannot bear fruit by myself. I must abide in him.

.....Then I taught a caregroup lesson on "How to be more like Jesus?" Here are the outline.

Luke 6:27-3627
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31Do to others as you would have them do to you.32"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. 33And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. 34And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full. 35But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

What Jesus taught in this very famous long sermon is in the end(his death) even more clearly demonstrated in his own life. Jesus did not merely say these things but he did it well. Below is the sermon outline without associated verses.

1.) Do good despite circumstances. v27-28
Jesus already warned very clearly there will surely be people who hate us, persecute us etc but we are to still be good. It is no excuse to be like the rest of the world and respond the way typical man did. Jesus endured crufixion, criticism and humiliations yet He prayed for them. When Jesus was being insulted and all that, He chose not to send down the angels to destroy them because he loves them. The backbone of doing good despite unlikeable or unfavourable circumstances is love, not legalism.

2.) Deny your rights v29-31
We are called to deny our rights. To be the sons of God is to deny the rights of being the son of this world. And in this world, if we cling on to it and to all that the worldly pursuits and desires in it, we would become part of it and we will never be more like Jesus. We mist recognise Jesus, His ministry, what the Bible says and follow His example. He gave up His rights in order to do what the Father told him to do. Do we give up our rights for pleasures and other sinful desires for the Kingdom of God?

3.) Be different from the world v32-35a
Being different from the world is not to be alienated from them but to just be different in good deeds and mindset like Jesus. Being different from the world starts off from knowing and recognising our identity. When we fix our eyes on what is eternal; Jesus Christ and His Kingdom then our previous identity of pursuing what the world does fades away. We should display our good deeds more yet not hypocritically thinking that in these efforts, our actions can put us higher before 'sinners'(those who've not yet believed in Jesus' Kingdom) or a chance to condemn them.

4.) Desire to be more like Jesus v35b-36
Many things is achieved not just be sheer hard work. If our hearts is not engaged, God will not hear our prayers. We should pray for our hearts as well to be more like Jesus. Jesus' intention of saying these words:"Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." is to want to spur us to be more like Jesus. Without desiring, we will not accomplish very much.

Mission Trip To Hope Kota Samarahan!

Woah! As I'm writing this post, there are really alot of things that came into my mind. Memories of the people and place flashed in my mind. On the overall, I'm very blessed to be able to go to the mission trip as its the best trip that I've ever been. The people there are very sacrifical as they always want to pay for our meals even though they may not have alot. The people there also took care of us very well as even though they are still studying, they took out their free time to take care of us and bring us around. I really want to thank the Hope Kota Samarahan people there. Very big thank you to all of you. (Too much names to list. Haha... :-)) In this mission trip, I really had a great fellowship with the brothers and sisters there and I really felt very touched and loved by them. They also blessed us with gifts. :-) I also learned alot in this trip from Pastor Dennis' teaching and also through the sharing of the Gospel in the campus, UNIMAS. Also learned alot from the brothers and sisters there.

Tuesday
Day 1:
Still remember the first day of the trip, I had a very bad headache during the fligh, when I reached the airport, Kok Hing and Florence were there to fetch us. They drove us back to the ministry house as we were staying there. We unpacked our stuffs and met Valerie, Ah Bing and Jeffery. We shared our objectives of this mission trip and later set off to visit the campus, UNIMAS. Li Lian, Florence, Gladys, Valerie, Kok Hing brought us to the campus. When we reached there, we attended a Korean lesson taught by one of our brother and sister. They are Jeong Heong and Min. They are teaching this lesson as part of their assesement. We went there and we learned how to cook Korean pancake. Its really delicious! Then later we went around the campus for visitation. After the campus visitation, we went back to the ministry house. We later had a BBQ at night and we had some games then. I remembered playing this game and was forfited. Then I picked the forfit message from the box and guess what I've got, "Cry In Five Different Ways." Its so difficult as I thought there is only one way to cry and its to tear. Then I and Joyce started to act in five diferent ways of crying. I also thought we are supposed to do five in all but actually its each person do five. So we did and we had a good laugh. :-) We later had our dinner which is prepared by Qiu Lian and some other sisters. We had a great dinner and we also manage to taste the "Bamboo Chicken" which is actually chicken put into a bamboo shoot with some ingredients. The taste is really fantastic. It taste so nice and nutrious. Then I got to meet Kelvin, Florida, Cindy, Derrick(UL), Shelia, Dan, Mun Kit, Frankie and the others. After the whole event, we went back to the ministry house to rest.

Wednesday
Day 2:
We had our morning prayer meet but the we(brothers that went for the mission trip) were late as we woke up late. The prayer meet was held at the church which is very near the ministry houses and Kok Hing drove us to the church. We later had breakfast with Pastor Dennis. I had a pleasent conversation with him. I also got to try this 3 layer of "Teh C Beng". After the breakfast, Kelvin drove us to Indian Street and we shopped there for a little while. We were splited into two groups and I was with Liyan, Jennifer and Jaron. We first visited the Museum and the place was fascinating. There are alot of animal specimens and its really an eye opener. There are also lots of weapons and other stuffs there. Later we went to Indian Street and I brought some key chains there for the caregroup members back in Singapore. The place sells alot of souvenirs and there are alot of funny stuffs. Jaron brought a blow pipe which is like a weapon for hunters to hunt animals in the past. After the shopping. we went back for a short rest and later we had practice for the praise and worship before the workshop. Lennon was our guitarist and Jaron and I practice the songs, History Maker, Jesus Lover Of My Soul and two more I forgot the names... Haha... Then later we went to have our workshop. When leading the praise and worship, its really difficult. I thought its not so difficult as I had tried to imagine how I can dance and sing on stage but when its time for the real thing, its so difficult. Its a great experience leading about 30 people on stage in praise and worship and its my first time. We later had a SOW workshop and I shared the story on the "Ticket To Heaven". Its been a great and tiring day and we later had supper at Xiang Xiang and the food there is really nice. Especially the Kolo Mee. After supper, we went back for rest.

Thursday
Day 3:
We had our morning prayer meet and we were late again... (not on purpose one... Haha...) After our prayer meet, we went to have our breakfast and set off to the campus to share Christ later. We were together in groups and I went with Frankie. We did survey with 3 Indian guys (If not mistaken). Later I went with Kelvin to share Christ with a group of 3 people, but they did not receive Jesus. Then later, I went to share Christ with Frankie and met a person Jeffery (Contact). We shared Christ to him but even though he did not convert, he yold me something that encouraged me alot. He said I was the first person to share the Gospel to him. Then later on, we set off to another cafe in the school and continue to share Christ to the people and I managed to share Christ to a brother's classmate. Hui Mei manage to have one convert. Praise God! :-) After the sharing of the Gospel, We went to the church with Lennon, Jaron, Kelvin, Li Lian, Gladys to practice for the praise and worship led by Lennon later before the workshop. We had a great praise and worship and we sang, Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble, Church On Fire, God Of Wonders and Great Is Our God. We later had a Follow-Up workshop and had a great time of sharing. After the workshop, we went to Xiang Xiang again to have our supper. Haha... Then after supper, we headed back to the ministry house to rest.

Friday
Day 4:
As usual, we had our prayer meet in the morning and later had breakfast. After breakfast, we headed to the campus to continue to share the Gospel. On that day, Xhu Zhen and Frankie both have a convert. Praise the Lord. :-) We then left thr campus at about 2 plus and we went to Indian Street to shop again. We had KFC with the people there for lunch and later proceed on to shop. We just stroll around the place but did not brought anything except for Kok Hing, who brought some sago biscuits. (By the way, its very nice. :-)) We later took this boat over to another place to visit a prison. The place is actually an old place where prisoners are put. We (Kok Hing, Florence, Lennon, Jaron, Tuck Choy and I) took the boat there and it cost 30 cents RM. Is quite a pleasent boat trip. When we reached the place after alighting from the boat, it soon started to rain and we had to run all the way to find a shelter. We prayed for the rain to stop and soon the rain became smaller. So we continue to walk on but after awhile of walking, the rain poured even more heavily. So we went to this police station there and rest for a little while. The police station had huge drums and trumpets. (I wonder what's a police station with instruments... Haha...) Then one of the people there gave us some newspapers to cover ourselves from rain. Then we later continue to set out to the prison. The place was rather cosy and but we saw some guns and the prison cells were rather dark. (Maybe because its raining therefore making the cell darker...) After a while, we decided to leave and head to the Civil Tower. (If not remember wrongly... I remember its Civil something... Haha...) We then found a place with seats and waited for the rain to stop. As we waited, we ate the sago biscuits that Kok Hing brought. The atmosphere of eating sago biscuits in a rainy whether is quite nice. Later we took the boat back and set off to Civil Tower. On the way, Kok Hing drove us to the Medic Ministry house not becuase we are sick but its because we (Lennon, Jaron and I) were all asleep and Kok Hing decided to drove us there for a rest. After some rest a the Medic ministry house, we had our dinner. During dinner, Lennon and Jaron had ordered Coke that tasted really weird and they decided to order barley instead. Haha... We later had our prayer meet at Kuching there and I really had a wonderful time. As we prayed, I can really sense God moving and I felt really touched by the prayers of the brothers. As we sang the son "Its A Small Small World", I was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit from within to give my life fully to the plans of God and I prayed in my heart, "Here I'm God, send me, I will go where you want me to go." It really had been a fruitful time and I enjoyed every moment of the prayer meet. After prayer meet, we went to Xiang Xiang to have supper and I met Johnson who shared to me about his ministry and his testimonies really build up my spirit and I felt really inspired and encouraged. After the supper, we headed back to the ministry house and rest.

Saturday
Day 5:
We too had prayer meet in the morning and later breakfast. We later then set off to the new campus site. The new campus is really very big and Joe drove us to the place. He was also the first time there to the new campus so was kind of blur of the road. We went around the campus and had a great time of foto taking. Later at about 2 plus, we went back to the ministy house for a rest. And we later set off to church at about 6. We went to service after the dinner and I had a great time there. We (Hope Singapore) were involve in a presentation and we do a mime about hands. (The whole mime was funny and I almost can't control myself from laughing on stage. :-)) Later, Pastor Dennis teached the Word Of God on "How To Know Jesus More". It sounds simple but I learned alot from the teaching. The overall of the service was great and Shelia was the praise and worship leader.I enjoyed the service and the people there in Hope Kota Samarahan have a spirit of excellence that they want to give their best in Service. Later at night after Service, we had fellowship. We gather in the ministry house to share about this mission trip. Before the sharing, when we were still waiting for other brothers and sisters to arrive, I sang "Qing Tian" with the guitar. (Sounds funny as I sang but the chorus was too high for me to sing... Haha...) During the sharing, the atmosphere was touching and warm. I shared about the love and the hospitality of the people (Hope Kota Samarahan) and also the bonds that I felt between the brothers and sisters there. Even though we don't know each other long, I felt that we were very close as I believe its because of Christ Jesus. :-) I was very touched then. We stayed and fellowship till about 2 plus and went back to our brother's ministry house. We did not have much sleep as we had to leave by 6.15am in the morning.

Sunday
Day 6:
We set off to the airport at about 6.30am in the morning and had breakfast at the place where I tried the "3 Layer Of Teh C Beng". I ate the same thing which is Kolo Mee and it still tasted so nice. After breakfast, its time for us to leave... I felt unwilling to leave but I know that I have to leave. We took some fotos before leaving. When we went to check in, my eyes were still looking at the clear window as the brothers and sisters were still there. I kept looking at their direction as I can't bear to leave. Then after check in, I had a last look at the brothers and sisters and wave a last good bye and I turned and rush off as the plane was about to take off. When I was on the plane, I still had a heavy heart as I felt unwilling to leave. Then as the plane took off, I sat silently and plug into my MP3 player. Thankfully to God when I was on the plane, there was no headache as I thought I might have a headache again as I got a bad experience when I first arrived. (Actually I felt that the headache was coming but I prayed to God in my heart to not let my head hurt and praise God! It did not hurt. :-))

Well, this sums up my whole mission trip to Hope Kota Samarahan. There may be cretain events that I left out but as much as I can remember, they are all written here. May the people reading this be encouraged in spirit someway or another. God Bless. :-)

Exams Results

My exam results had just been released today. Really want to give thanks to God because He had blessed me so much in this exam. I got "A" for E-Commerce, "B+" for Business Environment and E-Commerce Project, "B" for TCP/IP and Business Communication, "C+" for Finance and "C" for Database. God helped me alot in my Finance and Database as I thought I would get "D" as the paper was not too easy for me. But thankfully, its turned out to be better. My grades are much better than expected and there is also an overall improvement on my GPA and I'm really very thankful to God for my results. :-)

Exam Period

Its here again... exams! Every semester will come a time of exams except the time of attatchment. But this exam period so far had been as interesting and memorable one. Its interesting because the modules taking are all different and their difficulty are at different level and that makes things interesting. :-) But its memorable to me because God did a great work in me during this exam period. God had been always faithful in good times and bad times. He's always been my refuge and shelter in times of trouble. During this exam time, I have not been able to keep myself focus to study as much distraction and my heart was not at the right state. But then, when I looked to the Lord in repentance and prayer, my burden are lifted up and my heart began to have peace. Just yesterday, I had my first paper. Its been one of my weakest subject, TCP/IP but the Lord helped me and I managed to do the questions in the exams that I did not expect myself to remember during revision. And today I had my second paper, E-Commerce. This module requires alot of memory work and understanding to study and during my revision yesterday, the Lord gave me an incredible memory capcity that during my time of study at night yesterday, I remembered about 95% of the study materials. Its a total special experience with the Lord. Then when I took the paper today, I remembered the things I've studied and I can do the whole paper. Praise the Lord! People who knows me will know that I have a very bad memory... Haha but the Lord is faithful and God. :-) Now the upcoming challenges are Finance and Database and I know God will continue to do His work in me. :-)

Double Surprise!

Today had been another normal day until a contact of mine Jasper message me and told me that he got some questions to ask me. Then I thought he has some doubts to want to ask me about God. So I fixed a time and place to meet him up during my break. When I met him in school's Food Junction, He asked me a question that shocked me. he said with a sincere tone: " How to receive Jesus?" I felt a sense of unspeakable joy. Then I replied: "You can receive Jesus by saying a simple prayer with a sincere heart." Then we went to the NYP dome to pray as Food Junction was not a condusive environment to pray. (Too much people and noisy.) Then I explaind to him about God looking at out hearts and not at our outer appearence. Then we said the sinners prayer together and praise the Lord! He received Jesus into his life!!! Then later Leslie caught up with us at the dome and we went to the library to get some rest. At about 3pm, Jasper and I left for our respective classes. The second surprise is that I got 28/30 for my financial test. :-) Praise the Lord. :-) I still remembered my previous test I just got a pass and I pass by moderation. (Supposed to fail without moderation.) But God is faithful and He helped me to do well in this test. :-) Thank God for all the blessings that he gave but the most important and joyful thing is that a soul is being redeemed and saved today. :-) Praise the Lord. :-)

Its been another great day! I just found out that I won a ticket to the upcoming horror movie "The Maid". But first need to attend an hour of the making of the movie. But this is not the main thing I want to share here. What I want to share is that I got to do my E-Commerce project on the part where can add into the database using ASP.NET. I really want to praise God and thank God for this because I tried to figure it out for quite some time but still can't get it. But my classmate came to help me and now, I can add to the database. :-) Also want to take this time to tell you guys reading this that the song "Yours Is the Kingdom" by Hillsongs is very nice. Great Evangelism!

Praise the Lord! :-) Today we had a very wonderful evangelism in school. We had proclaim our Faith to our school people. Though we did not see converts today but God gave me a greater burden and desire to see people being won for Jesus. My courage also greatly increased when I shared to people about Jesus. I also learnt that we should not be ashamed to share about Jesus. If Jesus is real in our lives, the more we should share to others how our lives have changed. I really have a blessed day today and I believe God will continue to work in our lives. :-)

Yesterday's service was great. The praise and worship was good and the teaching was also good. I learnt alot from the sermon and on top of that, the sermon was also very funny with Pastor Jeff cracking quite some jokes. I'm looking forward to the next week's start as our caregroup came up with new strategy to bring people to know God by bringing them to caregroup. Really also looking forward to see Zhang Liang, Zhou Ti and Andrew (First time joining us for caregroup. :-)) Really want to thank God for everything that He has done for me and all the blessings that He had bless me with. :-)

Today we had a great day in Caregroup. One of our new-believer Zhang Liang turned up for Caregroup and I'm really thankful to God as this is one of the few times that he joined us for Caregroup due to his busy schedule. (He is teaching tuition.) We had a time of sharing of God's goodness in our life and there are also alot of laughter caused by all the Caregroup members. (Leslie, Xing Xing, Donovan, Kelvin, Zhang Liang and me. :-)) We also had a great time of teaching as I learnt that as when God speaks to us, we will have a sense of assurence from God and God will surely fulfill what He had spoken. I really enjoyed myself today. :-)

Unexpected Grade

Today had been a great day. Its one of my classmates birthday and I also got back my result for my module Business Communication 2. I was very thankful to God when I got my grade. When the teacher start announcing the grades, my grades was the highest among the rest of my classmates as I got a B+ (My teacher told me that my grade is near to an A. :-)) which is an improvement from the first time which I got a B-. Then when my teacher announced one of my classmates who got an A-, I was not thinking on "Why I was not first?" but I have a thankful and greatful heart that God had blessed me a good grade. I had a great day on the overall. :-)

Breakthru event

Today attended the BreakThrough event. Nothing spectacular about the event. But I know that there is something going on in the spiritual realms. I think and feel that this is exactly where our church shoudl be heading to. That is to leave and abandon all our comfort zone or places where we have ventured into for a very long time. To stop living in the status-quo. To stop having unfruitfulness in our lives. To not live luke-warm lives.

My vision is to see more and more people growing spiritually, leaving the nets that entangles their spiritual lives during this 21-months window period. At that end of it, we should see barriers and walls falling down, that the gospel advances more quickly and radically in our campuses. And people whose hearts are hardend, deceived and illusioned to think that they were right, but they were wrong all along, becoming salt and light.

Prayer, fasting, Word of God in our hearts...these 3 are the best tools and instruments God have given to us to overcome all oppositions and strongholds of satan. And I damn the unfruitfulness in me. I gonna damn away all the things that displeases my God. As I remember my pledeg, I wanna live lives worthy of Him.

Col 1:10 says
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

This verse confirmed the truth that as people who live a life worthy of the Lord, he will bear fruit in every good work. Good work here is preaching the gospel, any works that is inspired to extend God's kingdom. Growing in the knowledge of God means having a more intimate relationship with God. Knowing more of God and being closer to Him. When we grow in our spiritual gifts such as administration, prophesy or teaching, we are already growing in the knowledge of Him.

Those who missed today's Breakthrough event, it's alright! But more importantly, don't miss this chance together to tear down barriers and live a life so exciting because of Jesus and His Church :)

Yesterday was amazing, really amazing. God brought many visitors to our caregroup. At first 3 visitors was confirmed, 1 from Kelvin, 1 from Andrew and 1 from me. Then later on Saturday morning, I received a call from my visitor that there is another 2 visitors coming. Later just before the prayer meet, Andrew confirmed another 2 visitors. Just before service, my visitor brought another visitor. Total we had 8 visitors. (Thats a size of a caregroup! :-)) Although only Kelvin's friend, Zhang Liang received Jesus, I really want to thank God for every thing because the visitors get to hear the Gospel. :-) (Praise God man!) Had a great time after service too as I went to have steamboat at Bugis. The steamboat was not bad bu I did not eat much variety of food cause much of them are pig's intestine and stuffs. (Which I don't like eating. Hehheh... :-))
Want to take this time to congratulate and welcome our new-believer Zhang Liang. Welcome brother. :-) You are very important to God and to the caregroup. :-)

My First Time In Seoul Garden

Today's been a wonderful day. :-)I studied my Financial Management in the morning and manage to understand. (Praise God. :-))Later at noon had a great time in Seoul Garden. (To be honest its my first time there. Haha...) Had a great time as my family celebrated Father's Day along with my dad's friend who came from Korea. Really had a very bloated stomach. Haha... The beef meat was fantastic. (Never tasted such nice beef before. :-)) The chicken meat was nice too. But I enjoyed the family atmosphere the most. Its been quite some time since my family had such an outing. Then later my mom brought my brother and I a T-Shirt. Haha... Its been a cool day. :-)

Not long ago, one of my classmates told me that using Aloe Vera and orange to put on skin is good. When I heard it, I was kind of surprised cause I did not know that Aloe Vera and orange can just be used as facial product. Haha... but I tried and find its refreshing when you put the chilled Aloe Vera and orange on my face. (So cooling... Haha... :-)) Haha... It's something I can thank God for cause using this nature stuffs is much more economical. I enjoy the fun while trying out this stuffs. :-)

Project Burden...

Recently had this project on E-Commerce and this project really burdened me alot. Cause partly beeing the leader of the group, there tend to be more pressure cause have to do much things and plan everything well. Its also a semester module and if the group don't do well, everyone is affected. Also have to meet the group members and teacher in charge. Been really busy and its been hard to balance with ministry as there are many things to do for caregroup too. Like today, I did not have much time to prepare the lyrics of the worship due to doing the project after school and meeting the teacher. Tomorrow will be the presentation and really praying for God to bless our group with a good grade as it's 20% of our overall marks. But I still want to thank God and praise God in my circumstance. :-)

First Week Of School!!!

Woah finally back in school. Its kind of normal but I had a bad start of my semester as I was late for my first class at 8am. The lessons were alright but had a lot of tutorials filled in a day and also a lot of lectures filled in a day. The pressure is starting to build up as the 2nd year is more difficult and busy. But I know I can do well in our studies becuase God is there to help me. :-) Phi 4:13 Its been a rather pleasent week and had quite some fun in tutorials and lab cause some lecturers are quite funny. :-)

Yesterday went to fetch Xing Xing from the airport. But know what, Yi Quan, Jacky and me reached the airport at about 11.30pm just to realised that Xing Xing's plane was delayed due to lightning and heavy rain in Hong Kong. (Got to know this when Xing Xing told us.) Then his flight is due to land at 2.05am. Then we waited and had a meal at Burger King and Yi Quan got this Star Wars cup. We had a great meal at Burger King but can tell that all of us were kind of tired. Then the time had finally come when we saw Xing Xing taking his luggage and coming out of the arrival hall. When I saw him, I was really happy cause its been a long time since I've seen him and his hair become more cool. Haha... Then we chat on our way back to Xing Xing's house and before we left, Xing Xing gave me this T-shirt (Metres Bonwe, the brand that Jay Chou advertised. Haha...) Really want to take this chance to thank Xing Xing for the T-shirt. Its really nice and I really like and appericiate it. :-) Then Jacky and I walked back to my home from Serangoon MRT. (First time walking home from there... Such a long journey... But its not a lonely trip. :-)) Then Jacky stayed overnight at my house and we had a great breakfast eating Roti Prata. (Jacky's first time eating it... i'm quite surprised... :-)) I've really enjoyed the time that we fellowship with each other and hope there will be more opportunities next time to stay overnight at other brothers's house. Really enjoyed myself. :-)

Champions Leauge Champions : Liverpool

Its been a great night at Istanbul. Liverpool made a great history and comeback after a 3-0 down at first half and within a span of about 6 minutes in the second half, they were levelled backed at 3-3. Went into extra time and later on penalty shootouts. This is their 5th European Champions cup and its the most highly regarded cup in Europe. I was amazed as the Reds fought with determination and did not give up even they are 3 goals down at first half. Its something I had learnt from this match. Fighting on and not giving up and also believing that its possible. I really enjoy watching this match as its really amazing and stunning. The game was an eye opener. :-)

Came To Realisation

As I was travelling on the bus today, and listening to my MP3, I came across this song "Awesome God" by Hillsongs United album "Look To You". As I was listening to the song, I realised that the music and the lyrics "blend" together which means that the music fits nicely to the lyrics and this creates the impactful song. The music also somehow have the beat of the lyrics. (Don't know if you all understand what I trying to say or not... Haha) I was inspired by this song and I too also want to compose songs with the music blending together with the lyrics so that the song can bring out the meaning of the song together with a nice tune. I really want to write songs for God as I have too much to talk about God. I'm curently working on a song entitled "The One I Loved" and I hope that this song can be impactful. :-)

Woah, I'm really very excited and happy to see my sheep Xing Xing coming back from China. Really hope to see him soon in our CG and also in service. I'm really looking forward to see him on Saturday. He will be back on Friday 11.30pm. Just want to take this chance to affirm him too... as he is a very humble and obedient person as he is very teachable and always want to learnt the Word Of God. He also took the effort to go to a church in China to listen to the Word. I'm really very encourage by his life being change and moulded by God. :-)

I had learnt much things since I started reading the old testament on the book of Leviticus. I learnt much in chapter 26 as it talks about obedience and disobedience. Learnt about the blessings when one obeys and curses when one disobeys God. This chapter reminds me of the blessings on fruitfulness when we obey God. This chapter somehow reminds me to continue to be obedient to God and also to keep God's commands in our heart. I'm really spured to keep walking with God faithfully and dilligently and also continue to constantly seek God and pray to God and also read His Word (To Love Him, People and His Word) as these are the most fundamental parts of our walk with God. :-)

Box Office... Fun/Not... For You To Decide

Had a great time at the Box Office In Golden Village Yesterday and today even though there is alot of things to learnt and take note. As I'm blogging now, I had just applied some toner on my face as I've seen a brother using it and therefore I decided to buy and try it. :-) At the same time as I'm blogging, I'm enjoying my M & M's. (Its the new one, called Jedi Mix. Sounds cool right? :-)) I had learnt to sell tickets at the Box Office and its said to be one of the hardest stations as you need to deal with customers and they are especially hard to deal with when it comes to shows with ratings like, NC16, M18 etc. But I enjoyed the time there as I learnt many things there and also serving the customers. (Some customers can be really funny in their reactions and speech. :-)) Also withnessed a case where a furious customer argues about the show on NC16 as his daughter forgot to bring IC and she can't go into the cinama. Its been quite an eye operner for me working there. The most difficult and troublesome part of doing Box Office is the closing. Its the most difficult for me as there is alot of things to do like counting the float (Money you have started out with), counting coupons and recording them down and also correcting errors in caculations. (You will not want to do it. :-))

Today just received a sms from a long lost brother that went back to Korea. Its been one year since we met. Had a short chat with him just now over the phone also. I'm going to meet him tomorrow and I'm really exicted to meet him. By the way his name is Jacky. Knew him during the times when I was pioneering the Woodlands school in the High School ministry. Really looking forward to meeting him and serving God together with him. Woah! Just can't express this joy in words. Haha.. Yeah

Bash Camp Stuffs

Its been a really fun and cool Bash camp I had. We had alot of games and the one I like most was the Superman slide. (Even though I don't dare to try... haha) I really enjoyed myself with other brothers and non-believers even though I may be kind of busy at times preparing for the games and song presentation. Actually to be honest, I was kind of lost when Deborah asked me to take over in being the games IC cause I was not sure of the games and I'm also not good in leading and motivating people. During the Bash camp, I worry and panic alot as many things needed to be done fast and at times I also don't know what to do. But in my heart, I was praying to God and asking Him for help frequently because I know I can't do it by my own. And surely, God never fail me. He helped me and the games manage to flow even though at times there is some problems here and there. I also enjoyed the time of games as I disturb some of the players by spraying water at them while they were eating apple and also tickle Leslie during the chair game. Had lots of fun. The part I also enjoyed is also the time of song presentation. I did not really have much rehersal with the band for my song because I had to attend to the games part. I only manage to reherse with the band once just before the night event starts. When I was sitting down watching other brothers and sisters performing, I was there being nervous and also worrying on "would I sing well?" Still remember I had visited the toilet quite a few times to see that I'm well dressed before I perform. I also kept praying in my heart to ask God to help and again, God helped me and I manage to perform the song smoothly. And I enjoyed the time having fun with the brothers and sisters. To sum up the Bash camp, I would say its special. Haha

Closing Of Candy Bar...

Dont get me wrong. The closing does not mean "dao bi" or close down. It means keeping and clearing up the Candy Bar after the cinama close. This is the first time I do the closing and I had this trainer who taught me well for the closing. Little that I know that closing of the Candy Bar can be so tough. haha.. I had to clean the pop corn machine, keep the pop corn in a big bag... looks like carrying rubbish when you carry the bag of pop corn. haha... Also have to clean the hotdog machine which is requires alot of patient and skills. But still I had a great time working because I kind of enjoy the work. And its kind of amazing that God had helped me to enjoy my work as working has always been more a burden to me rather. :-)

New Slippers!!!

Today I just went to buy a pair of Quiksilver slippers with Donovan and Kelvin. We had a great time together and Donovan brought a shirt that is 70% off and he paid only 10 dollars for it. And Kelvin brought a cross for himself. I have been considering to buy a pair of slipper cause my old one is not good. Especially whe the slipper is wet cause there will be blue stains on your foot after you wear cause the cloth part of my old slippers will "tuo se" means the colour will come off and know what the stains is hard to wash off. So I decided to get a better one. Haha...

Want Some "Pop" Corn???

I remembered on Sunday that it ws the first time I learnt to work at the Candy Bar including making pop corns. my trainer taught me everything and soon, I set out on a "mission" to make pop corn. The first few time of making the pop corn was really interesting as its really incredible and amazing how some seeds can "pop" out of the machine. Then there was this once that I tried to make pop corn and as usual, I added all the ingredients needed and out I go to pour it into the machine. Then guess what happened next, the pop corn machine started to smoke. I was kind of surprised and next one staff told me its "chao da" means burned. Then smoke started to fill the Candy Bar and some on lookers were looking at the Candy Bar. they must be wondering "what had happened?" Then there was an encounter with a very furious customer and the Box Office and he was fuming and his girlfriend was also fuming. The man was demanding one of the manager to come out and in the end another manager came out to settle the issue. But had a great day and really want to thank God cause the working environment is good as its not demanding, the pressure is low and the people there is quite good. But really had a great time cooking pop corns :-)

Today I just started off work and before I set off to work, I was actually told that my results was out but I did not received the SMS. (Strange huh, cause the first semester also did not receive... haha) Then I hurried to checked and I had B+ for Java, B for Java project, B for economics, B for management, B for Data Communications and Networking, C+ for Statistics and D for Japanese. Really want to thank God for it even though I did not manage to get an A but will try harder for God next time. haha... Then I set off to work asking God to help me to have a good start in my work. And indeed, the day turned out to be just great and I had this trainer to guide me through. And manage to get along quite well with the people there including the manager. They are so far quite good. But as I work, it seems that there is not much people in the morning but at about 4pm people started streaming in. haha... Really enjoyed my work today. :-)

Monday No Blues!!!

Wow!!! Really had a good Monday cause I start off my day with spending a fruitful time with God. Was really very refreshed and renewed after the QT. Get to appericiate the cration of God better in Genesis chapters 1-8. Well then later at about 8pm we had the Bash camp meeting and its really good. We had great fun and laughter and we also have a fruitful time in discussing the stuffs. Really want to thank God for giving me this chance to lead in games cause its really a good opportunity to train myself and to challenge myself to become better equip with the skills. But the main thing is always about God and His Word. But really had a good time at SP HQ. :-)

Camp!!

Its been a really great camp. Really learnt alot from the camp. I'm personaly very convicted in serving the Lord harder even though this recently weeks has been a tough time for me as I have faced some testings. (not elebrorating here.. haha) The camp was excellent even though honestly the place is very hot and dirty. When we arrived at the camp site, I was already swating like crazy. The first day was very hot as the sun was shinning brightly and the place was without fan and air con. The first dayin camp was rather short as we had to go to service in the afternoon but it was more of a day that we get to know more of our camp group members. My team leader was Kelvin. Even though he is not that kind of very outspoken person, he led our group well and we won a trophy. (forgot what thropy we won) Really want to thank God for him here. We had a great day as we have been coming out with our team name(Titans) and also our team cheer. (Irrepressible.. haha) At night, we had a great time bathing even though the place was really dirty. Cause the brothers bath together(don't misunderstood, different cubicle each..haha.. with the NYP brothers) The sleeping place was alright but I can't sleep well cause I just can't seemed to find a best position to sleep. haha... The second day was much better as it had rain a little which means its cooler. haha.. We (the fourm group : Leslie, Jen, Ming Xiu, Jon Liu and myself) had put on a script about the life of Pope John Paul 2 and it was a really great experience and fun. Still remember the assination scene that I acted with Jon Liu. Its very interesting. haha.. The teaching was great even though I struggled to keep myself awake. The alter call was ministering but deep in my heart I was convicted to serve God even more and give myself even more to God. Then later we had our camp fire. The atmosphere was really warm and hot(in the sense that there is a great family feeling and also physically hot because we were sitting in front of the camp fire... haha...) Each group had their own cheer ad skit and our group came out with a skit with me acting as a tree and I think I look funny.. haha.. But it really made me to put my nature aside as I did something that is out of me. And we also had two really funny and enteraining hosts who are Peraline and Lennon. (They have been a very good host. Want to thank God for both of them here.) That night was reallya great night even though as I was sleeping at night, I was bitten ny ants and we(myself and Kelvin) had to clear the ants in order to resume our sleep. haha.. The third day was also a very impactful day as Pastor Jeff spoke about discipleship and also on how to relate with girls. I had been thinking and making a decision during lunch and finally I decided to really give my full to God after the last teaching. We pack all our stuffs and finally left for campsite feeling the "bu se de" feeling. haha... But I really enjoyed the time with the brothers and also really very inspired to serve God even more.

We had a great dinner on Monday night with Xing Xing. Its a very joyous time because the group spend time together and we had alot of laughter and fun. Still remembering that ing Xing told us bout the orange..haha.. Later at about 10 plus, we(Josh, Yi Quan and me) went to the airport to send Xing Xing off on Tuesday. As we were on our way to the airport, we talked bout many things. One interesting topic we came to was about pick pockets. Xing Xing shared to us about how he was cheated by a 14-15 year old boy. The boy wanted to change money with him(20 ten dollars note for 2 hundred dollars note) The boy first gave him 19 notes then then when Xing Xing told him that he only gave him 19, the boy took another 1 ten dollars note(at this time, with swift hands, the book took away another 10 ten dollar notes) Then the boy return the 10 ten dollar notes to Xing Xing. Xing Xing took the notes without counting it and later then he found out that the boy had cheated on him. He also told us about how his mom's necklace was snatch away by a thief. Its a very interesting topic we talked about. We later arrived at the airport and found a seat at the coffee cafe at Terminal 1. We settled there for a moment as Josh went to get a cup of "la teh" Its taste super bitter(commented by Yi Quan) It looks really delicious to me as the cup of coffee looks creamy and thick. We sat there for quite some time as I was lying down on hard sofa trying to fing the most comfortable position to sleep. Josh was there drwing me and Yi Quan. (the picture he drew looks kinda real) Then Yi Quan was doing his story board stuffs. Then Xing Xing was also there trying to get some rest. Later on that night, As i was sleeping on an one hour interval(sleeping and waking up between one hour) Josh, Xing Xing and Yi Quan went to have a stroll in the airport. Then they later had Burger King and they also brought foe me too. We later rested there for a little while until Xing Xing's china friend arrived(taking the same airplane with him) As later Xing Xing and his friend were to depart, I send them off. Its was a strange moment for me and Xing Xing because there was joy but there was also a sadness that he is going to leave for a month or so. I and Xing Xing kept waving "bye bye" to each other even he had went in already. He also kept looking back(i believe he also "bu se de" to leave us) well than later i just walked back to where Josh and Yi Quan were. We later then left the airport and set off back to home.

A Super Sunday!

We(Josh, KC, Andrew and I) had a great time swimming today in Toa Payoh swimming complex. We splash water at each other like little kids. But it realli helped me and KC not to feel so cold as we both were shivering like crazy. We also sun tanned for a while. When i ask andrew why he dont wanna sun tanned and i told him it was fun and shoik, he told me its not fun caused he tried before. We later then went to KFC for a big lunch. The special dish was the Chicken salad. Its packaging looks like a UFO (suggested by andrew... dunno how he come out with it.. haha) the chicken in the salad taste nice but the salad obviously taste bad to me.(I dont like salad... luckly no only me... KC also.. haha) The salad contains some dried look alike maggie mee and also some raw vegi and some carrots bits..(looks bad to those who dont like salad right) Then Josh poured all the seasonings into the salad just for andrew to realise that its too late.(as andrew ask Josh not to pour too much caused scared too salty) But thank God cause we all had a very nice and full meal. After the lunch, KC and Josh left as they have a meeting to catch up. So I and andrew roam Toa Payoh on a mission in search of a facial foam. (andrew is realli a expert in facial stuffs and we talked a lot bout it as we roam) We later landed on Watsons and just to be appoached by a sales lady. Then something comical happened. She saked me "are you looking for facial products(in chinese)" Then i immediately reacted by saying "no its him (pointing to andrew)" Then she just started her long promotion on the facial product. The product was good but the price was a bomb. it cost about 60-70 dollars on average(as there are quite a number of products) the we also "bu hao yi si" reject the sales lady as she promoted so much. Then we later went to Gurdian just to be approached by another sales lady.( maybe we are just too charming... haha just kidding) Then she told us about another facial product which cost much cheaper at about 19-20 dollars on average. Then later andrew got his desired facial just to regret that he did not brought it realy when its having an offer.. Then we later left to my house to play bball. As on our way to my house, I shared my experience with God to him. Then we had a game of bball and his dad came to fetch him at about 4.

Really wanna thank God for this shepherd of mine. Realli appericiate him as even though he is very busy with his school work, he will take up his Sunday to meet me at times just to spend time and teach me the Word Of God. I always enjoyed the time meeting him. Even though he don't realli talk much like me, but I know that he has a sincere heart for God and realli wanting to serve God and obey His word. (To Joshua: As now you are going over to another group. I pray that you would be able to work with the people there well and also able to adapt quickly so that you can continue to advance the Kingdom Of God more. A Busy Week Ahead!!!

This week had is really a very busy week as I just had my DCN test yesterday and I managed to do the paper. Praise God!!! And today I just had my programming test which is Java. I had to do three parts of the program and I really had a fun and great time doing the program. Its kinda easy for me as God helped me alot cause actualli practice doing the test yesterday as its a practical test. Really wanna thank God for the Java test. :-) Will be having choir practice on Wed night and also a Statistics test on Thur and also management project to do on Fri. Haha.. busy right?? Anyway, wanna share with you guys another two blessings as God had blessed me in finincial ways that I never expected it to happened. One of my mother's friend actualli gave me a red packet for my birthday which has $20 even though my birthday had long passed. Also as you guys know that New Year is over, my mother's friend still gave me red packet and it sumed up to $15. And in total, I received $35. Realli wanna thank God for this! Btw, wanna encourage all who are reading this to pray and talk and seek God more as surely, He will never fail to answer them if they are according to His will. :-) Take Care. Hey, wanna share with u all that God has once again helped me for my accounting test. The test was 30min and there are 10 questions. At the start, I dont know how to do about 6 questions. Thats about half a paper. But God never fails to help as in the last 10mins, God helped me to find the answers. Hey guys, just finished reading the book of Ezekiel. Its realli a book that is not easy to understand.(In my own opinion) As i was reading the Bible, I realised that God always punish His people for sinning against Him but after punishing them, God always restore them as He wants to let His people know that He is the Lord. Then I realised that God is always gracious to His people and He realli wants His people to turn from their sins. Although this may be a simple thing I learnt but I realli wanna apply one thing is that not to take God's grace for granted as many times I took God's grace for granted and kept sinning. Realli hope u guys reading this can learnt something too. See ya guys in CG.

Ha its me again... realli wanna thank God for blessing me in my Java test to score 25 upon 40. I did not hav time to study much as I was sick the other day. It's Been A Great Service Today!!!

Really want to thank God for today's service as Pastor Jeff's teaching has spoke into my life. I really want to serve God more and move out of my storm in my life. Really sad that I can't join you guys as I promised a friend to accompany him as he wants to buy a cap. Anyway just want to add on something on what I learnt and also what I want to apply. What I learnt is actually point 2 which is know what not to do when storm strikes. I learnt that as God is on the ship, when storm comes, we should be smiling at the storm. This point may seemed to be a very simple but actually I overlooked it until Pastor Jeff addressed it on the sermon. It also teaches me to put my trust in God and to remain "cool" during trouble times. So how I want to apply is actually put my full trust in God, I really don't know how I can do it but I will keep praying and I really believe that God will guide me with His gracious and merciful hands. Hope this little post can bless you guys reading this in some ways. God bless. :-)

Yesterday was a really tired day and I got back my practical test on my Essentials Of Infocom Technology... know what, I failed. I was kind of disappointed but I still want to thank God cause I believed that God is going to work in my exams for this module. Really had a pleasent week so far and many testing coming my way but really want to thank God for everything cause God will provide a way for me. :-)
